Default Auto neutral start accessory

Does anyone know anything about an accessory that was offered on Lincoln/Mercury called "Auto neutral start" or "Automatic starter switch" Does anyone have this on their car, or know what it is or how it works?

You are describing 1957-1958 MERCURY MULTI-DRIVE KEYBOARD CONTROL?

No, this has nothing to do with any keyboard control. It's some type of round pod shaped switch that mounts on the firewall and is wired into the car. It is listed an as accessory for '55 Mercury and Lincoln cars.

Do you have a copy of the ACCESSORIES CATALOG?

Can you post a PN or photo of the page?

They sadly do not show a photo of it in the sales brochure but do describe it as an available accessory. The number I have seen is: FDD-11508-A in a Lincoln box, but the instructions show installation on either Lincoln or a Mercury with separate wiring diagrams/vacuum connections.
