My 39 Tudor Deluxe has 7 roof bows. I numbered them when I took them out and after removing them I noticed they are numbered already. My question is why does the few places that I can order one from says it should be 5 or 6 bows? I did not have the headliner in it when I got it.
Thanks Wick |

Wick: Read all the information shown here: Seems like there may be two versions of the Tudor headliner - some with 6 bows, some with 7. Hope Mike "Kube" can fill us in.

Just as a point of information, my 40 coupe has 5 long roof bows and a short wire bow on each side of the rear window. Below are 1978 installation pictorials from LeBaron Bonney. Perhaps someone can post silmiliar instructions for your Tudor sedan showing the number of bows. Also attached is a video showing a 1940 Ford Tudor Sedan headliner. https://www.bing.com/videos/rivervie...98CB&FORM=VIRE Here's another Tudor interior showing headliner. https://www.bing.com/videos/rivervie...023da26188713f Last edited by 19Fordy; 06-04-2025 at 09:10 AM. |
