Gentlemen,
I have wired my 1939 Deluxe turn signal switch (allstate 8141) to my car. All lights work. The issue I have is when I turn on my running lights I loose the turn signals. The flasher clicks once and that is it. I am running stock tail lights and ad on fronts that are not LED. I am using a 12 volt Negative ground. I have made my own harness. Any suggestions will be welcome.

That is a classic symptom of poor ground at the light socket. The voltage from the running lights can't go to ground easily, so interferes with the turn signal voltage trying to get to ground. (and visa-versa) Solution is to clean up the light bulb socket and the socket's connection to ground on the body. Sometimes running a dedicated ground wire to the frame will be the solution.

I also added a buzzer to mine so I wouldn’t leave them on, I put a piece of tape over the hole to subdue the noise.

Does that buzzer go "click click" or does it sound like a continuous one tone "squeal"?? I'm looking for the type that goes click click. Need mfg. and part no. if it is a clicker Thanks Okay. I looked closer and yours apparently is 12V
I'm still 6V for some reason.

I haven't found one that clicks, and if did, my 75 year old ears wouldn't likely hear it anyway. I did find this 6V one that buzzes with each flash of the signals, and I had to put some tape on it to quiet it a bit. My '46 is still + ground so the red wire went to ground, and the black is connected to the output of the #535 6v three terminal flasher unit.

I am using new light fixtures and a ground wire to the battery during testing. I will go over all the connections again though.

If you spliced the front signal wires into the running light wires it will not work. The running lights in front need a two filament bulb with the two wire socket if you want both to work.. In addition if the filament in the running light is brighter than the signal filament it will "wash out" the light from the signal light. There's really no need to have the running lights functional if your headlights work. Disconnect the running light wires and you are good to go.

I also found that the add-on noise beepers/buzzers I found were very annoying. So I drilled two 1/8" diameter holes in my '47 Speedo dial face just inside to speed markings - (one at 3 O'clock and one at 9 O'clock for right and left functions) and inserted an 1/8" red colored LED electronics bulb in each. I connected them to the proper side of the turn signal wiring using a small resister on each to drop from the car voltage to their rating. Bright enough in day light, its a visual reminder in my face.
