Default Dimensions of 42 Mercury oil bath air cleaner?

Bubba has a chrome hot rod air cleaner on his chrome Holly wannbe carb. I'm getting a correct carb from Charlie but when I look at sites for an air cleaner, I'm not seeing a real clear image of what I need. Does not need to be factory correct, just representative of the era. I'm trying to put a straight edge on the cowl to see how much clearance I have from the top of the carb to the underside of the hood, but if someone can share with me what the height of a stock air filter would be, it would get me close. A guy on FB has three for sale from 48 on that I would be interested in looking at once I know how tall they cannot exceed.
Thanks in advance. I'll hang up and listen

There looks to be a really nice one on Ebay, Item # (375945284297). I think 46-48 but would work on your car. Priced at $51.50 or best offer. Not overpriced.

From the parts book it looks like there was a 19A (Mercury) that was replaced by the 59A ones. I've never seen a picture of one though.

Thank you all for this. Now I've got pics to go from. My straight edge to cowl guesstimation suggest about 6" of clearance from top of carb to underside of hood with some wiggle room to spare. So I'll make sure obtained air cleaner will attach to my carb and is no taller than 6". TO THE MARKETPLACE!

This is supposed to be a Merc one or possibly a Ford one on my 48 Ford. I got it seperate to buying the car. I believe it's of some sort of Canadian Ford product 46/48. Looks like an alien spaceship with those slots on the side.Never been sure.
