I do not know if this is 3 or 4 speed, all I know is the SN matches the frame on this 3/4T 41. To order a rebuild Kit, what transmission do I refer to? Thanks!

Warner Gear T9, what Ford called a spur gear. It has no synchronizers. It is the same as the one in my 52 MH R32-4 (F3).

That is the earlier version of the crash-box four speed (no synchros) without the removable clutch housing, frequently called a "hogs head" by the hot rod community. It may be designated a T-8 transmission instead of a T-9, I'm not sure what technicality makes one or the other, as far as I know they are functionally equivalent.

Definitely a four speed type…..correct for the 1941 V-8 that it’s attached to. It may have the shifter lever with the little trigger operated reverse lockout release (located just below the shifter knob). The ball bearings, caged roller bearings, paper gaskets, rear oil seal are all available….we try to keep those all in stock. After that, it gets very sketchy on what is available. If your truck was a 1/2 ton pickup I would be suggesting that you change over to the three speed transmission for drive ability and parts availability. Not sure if that is doable with the 1 ton truck. If the gears are still in decent shape, I’d refresh the bearings and use it…..getting used to double clutching on every shift.

In my opinion, it looks to be a T9 with a PTO cover on the passenger side
Why brush off both sides of that transmission on the driver side if it says 59T then it’s a 4 speed

The serial number stamped on the top lip of the transmission bellhousing flange (above the small removable inspection cover) should provide information on the approximate build date.
