Is there anybody making replacement grill bars for the 32 ford? It appears in the past they were available but I can’t seem to find any now. Anybody know?

I had a few made locally in stainless $$$$$, If desperate to replace just a few it might be worth it but I doubt anyone would step up for the 43 to do the whole grille.

Maybe cost effective to pull them out of a repro offshore grille? They were $2 ea at Dales back then.

C W Moss shows them in their catalog. Ph# 800-322-1932. $4.95 ea. for steel and $5.95 ea. for stainless. Catalog states 43 bars per grill. A complete new grille is $300.

If you decide to go to a sheet metal shop the bars are 23 ga, have a depth of approximately 1/4” and the gap between sides is .048.
And BTW, C W Moss shows the bars as out of stock.

The web site shows the steel ones still available. It does not list the stainless ones at his time. Did you call them and they said "out of stock"? The website does not indicate "out of stock" The original bars were not stainless.

I’ve looked all over and the only listing I can find online for C W Moss is for the stainless bars at $4.95 that are shown as not in stock. Given that the price is $4.95/ea. and you say the stainless bars are $5.95 am I looking at an old catalog listing on their website? I have not seen their listing for plain steel bars anywhere, where did you find it?

I have a catalog that is probably a year old or so. It lists both the stainless and the steel ones. I also found the steel ones on their website, but not the stainless ones. Give them a call at 800-322-1932. If they are out of stock they also supply other dealers and they may tell you what dealers to call. You might also contact All Ford Parts in Campbell, Ca. at 800-532-1932.

I decided to pass on the grill I was going to buy because I could not find them. I talked to a local steel shop and the price they quoted for 7 bars was just just too much. I will keep looking for a grill that does not need any replacement bars. Thanks for all the info.

To answer Highbeam's question.Original 32 grille inserts are not 1 piece. Here are pics of a grill I repaired for a friend here.I did have a donor insert for some replacement bars. On the right side in pics some of the bars were rotton at the bottom so I spliced then with leftover bar pieces.Since the bars have a slot on the back side I had some thin tin strips that fit tightly in the slot and was able to graft the parts together and epoxy glued them in.I is for display and not in a car to be driven.
