Charlie NY is back in the shop
Charlie NY just contacted me to let everyone know that the eye surgery went well, and he is back in the shop.

Welcome back! I hope it was just cataract surgery. I had it and it was a real minor deal. Now I don't need glasses and can see to drive at night again. I can, but I avoid it because of the deer. They all seem to have a suicide wish this time of year.

I also just had cataract surgery last month and no longer wear glasses. I do use a cheap pair of drug store cheaters to read. it's amazing what they can do.

GREAT News!
The two 1935 distributors he rebuilt plus his tuning my Holley 94 Carb and getting the ignition wires right have given me an amazing ride. Here in NC on sunny days I drive a loop out through Rockingham County... and the last 1/3 of my 25 mile ride runs me down NC Hwy 158 West... and I am not the slow vehicle...  . I find myself riding along behind traffic and I have to wonder if they ever imagined I'm running a nearly 90 year old (but rebuilt) Ford Flathead....and good folks like Charlie helped make this possible! Very well said. John, and I too agree. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the arguement with Ken Isadore, the carburetor rebuilder. I don't think that Ken is still alive now so they can't fight any more. Anyway, Charlie is a good guy and Ken was too. It was an unfortunate situation. Sometimes people make mistakes and they can't be resolve it due to stubborness. Bruce
