Replacing standard pressure plate with early V8

In swapping a standard Model A pressure plate for an early V8 pressure plate, will the existing bolts be suitable to use? If not, suggestions as to what I should use would be appreciated.

The proper bolt for the pressure plate has a round, unthreaded shank or shoulder below the hex head that passes thru the pressure plate flange and a slight counterbore in the flywheel face. This does two things, locates the pressure plate and provides additional shear area that would not be present if the bolt were threaded all the way to the underside of the head. I know that Pioneer and possibly ARP offer the correct bolts, as well as some of the regular suppliers.

Are you talking about very early V8's? They would probably interchange? Later V8's, maybe 1938 and later are entirely different, this is the one commonly used when lightening the flywheel.
