A very good friend of mine has a 1935 ford pk up i helped him restore @ ten years ago since then both outside door handles come out of the bezel that bolts to the door when opening i know we’re going to have to take the door panels off to see what’s broke but would like to get a heads up to pre order parts can’t seam to find a good pic of the pieces involved with holding the handle from any parts catalogs in no hurry this will be a winter project

There should be no need to remove door panels unless parts have fallen inside.
Remove the fasteners holding the bezel to the door. There is a washer with a square hole that slides on to the handle shaft to a point where it is staked to the shaft to keep the bezel secured to the shaft. If a way can be devised to re-secure the washer, that should fix it, otherwise new handles are in order. The original bezel is sheet metal (not cast) and the spring is just a rattle reducer.

Here are pics of the repop which shows how its put together.Between the cup and inside of the escutcheon is a spring. Might be that the spring is shot ? The cup is secured by the shank being swedged.Small cotter pin works also .
