Default Drag link ??

Hello, I did some searching but couldn’t find the answer I was looking for. I currently have the center link out of my car to tighten up some slop from a worn out idler arm and drag link. I disassembled the drag link and layed out old parts on bench in order but unfortunately they got moved around on me. I’m trying to figure order the spring and plug go. Does it go Plug first then spring over it our spring in first then plug 2nd?

I found my answer I believe, plug goes in flat side first then spring slides over it.

This link goes to a Ford truck forum. Scroll down for a diagram of the drag link/ball stud assembly order. Cars and trucks are the same in this regard.
