Default Traditional 5 window coupe

I have a really nice 1932 five window coupe with a late 8BA flattie and a 1939 trans.and a Columbia 2 speed rear and split wishbone front end . I am installing a 2 inch drop axle and now my problem , because the wishbones are now lower with the dropped axle the drag link will no longer clear the wishbones what is the traditional way of correcting this and #2 the steering rod from the pitman arm is now too short do I splice and weld or again whats the traditional way of fixing this ! Thanks Mike B.

You have placed this in a forum intended for questions to the editors. You should move it to the main forum and/or HAMB.

I'm lazy so I'd just get a set of dropped spindle arms

This question might be a better fit for the folks over on HAMB as Charlie suggested. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/
This is the kind of stuff the guys over there work on.
