Default 41 front sway bar

I don't think this sway bar is 41. In the picture is a new 40/41 stabilizer swivel. What year is the sway bar? 41 woodie.

My 41 sw has a completely different sway bar than my 41coupe.I don't know if this helps because you failed to mention the application. Phil

That looks like a 1940 sway bar parts except for that little "claw like" pointed metal extension. Here's some 1940 photos. Also, some helpful info. with photos are in these threads.

I added 2 more pics. The swivel is loose on the bar end. Thanks for the links and pics but I'm still confused as to what I have.

That bar looks a lot newer than '41. It is made (modified?) to utilize modern stabilizer links. Akin to what you would find in a mid 70's Gm vehicle.

Definitely not '41. believe 46-48 used sway bar link(similar to shock link) so "eye" should be vertical. I agree with Kube.

It looks to me to be just a late model bar that kinda "fits" maybe aftermarket.
Martin.
