Hi barners,
Put this message on '54 up forum by error, but here it is:
My friend needs a pair of '51 Merc CONVERTIBLE door vent window and window guides. These are the same as '49 thru '51 converts, as well as '49 thru '51 Lincolns. Can you point me to a good source, nothing around here.

as they are super rare. Maybe the non-convertible Merc windows can be made to fit.
Trouble is they don't have that solid s/s corner piece if he wants 100% authenticity. Can he modify and use these? The price is right.

It would also be possible to make some and get them chrome plated. Lots of work though.

I've seen only one set come up on flea-pay in many years so they are not easy to source. Even those rear quarter windows are rare. A person may have to try & fabricate some until originals can be located.
