Available from a bunch of sources all claim to be the best, and the price varies somewhat. I suspect these are being made by only one or two manufacturers and being retailed by many providers. Anyone have suggestions or comments? The seals are beginning to weep on my originals...so I am getting ready. Thanks!

Everybody has them for sale, but what I do is have my original castings/pumps redone by Skip - he has his own special impellers for the 37-48 pumps and does really good work. His pumps have really helped the cooling on my very high performance 42 Merc engine. Plus, he is a good guy - stands by his products/word and does great coil rebuilding to boot.

I have used ones from Speedway for several years but from now on I would send the originals to Skip Haney for a rebuild.

For new, I have Dennis Carpenter's pumps. If I was going for rebuilt, it would be Skip's.

Skip takes great pride in his work, and if you should ever have an issue with any of his products, he is right on top of correcting things for you.
I stopped in to see Skip and delivered 3 coils to him for rewinding, this past March, on my way to Ft. Meyers. I was in Florida a total of 8 day's, and when I got back home, I found a package from Skip containing my coils that looked brand new. It's tough to find that kind of service today.

I recently sent two 59A pumps to Skip for a rebuild. These are the first pumps I have had him rebuild. I am very satisfied with his work and the performance of the pumps. I would recommend Skip to rebuild your Ford pumps. I prefer not to buy the off shore new pumps that many of the vendors sell.

I've got Bob Drake pumps on my '36's 59L and so far they've worked great. There are no leaks to speak of and the engine runs cool. For $125 you really can't go wrong.
