Military working on my woodie
Hi Everyone, Wondering if there are any guys on here with experience of RHD military wiring (yup, pretty niche!).
I am getting to the wiring on my woodie and have an NOS C11ADF RHD loom in there, but it pays little regard to the colours on my wiring diagram, and seems to have loads of extra stuff coming off it. I in particular I meed to sort our where the dash loom and lighting loom meet. Also, where does the foot dimmer switch go? I don't seem to have any extra holes in my floor! (And its miles away from the wiring.) Can anyone there help? Thanks, as ever. Ed |

Re: Military working on my woodie
I would start by drawing out a wiring diagram on paper and figuring out the color coding as compared to the Ford original car colors. Something like the attached diagram (sorry for the poor quality!) You can figure out a lot of the circuits by checking continuity end to end on the wires. Label them as you go. Ford was fairly consistent in their wiring colors from year to year, I attached a table of wiring colors I am working on. It is not complete yet, but might help some.

Hi, thanks for the colours table J, looks really useful. Quite a big job you have taken on there.
Will also email Mike too. Again, thanks for the contact. Ed |
