If so would you pass that information along.
Thanks

I Recently bought a Tudor Sedan with an Otwell health heater in it the manifold type ,

The wife was so warm she took her coat off said it was the first time in 30 years of riding
in old cars with me that she had felt too hot!!!

Might be easier and cheaper than the water type heater.

Here's a heater I put under the front seat in my Sport Coupe. My son welded up the box and we cut down a later pickup heater core to fit. The air comes out at about 175°F. The outlets are air vents from a British sports car. There is a third outlet on the box which dumps some warm air under the seat as a seat heater. The picture by the transmission shows the heater contol valve to change the temperature. It us from an old Chrysler vehicle.

I like that set up, had not thought about
putting it under the seat.

Thanks again

Bill, to razz you a little, why do you need to install a "hot water heater" if admittedly the water is already 'hot'?

The temperature here last night was minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit. I have installed hot water heaters in four out of give of my Model A cars and they do a wonderful job. The manifold heater might keep the chill down but will not make it warm. Wayne

Wayne, would you care to show how
you installed the heaters in your cars and what kind of heaters
did you use?

Thanks, Bill

I got the entire set up from Snyders.i got it complete with the hose, coupling, Heater and instructions. I got the 6 volt because all my A's are 6 volt. If that does not help I can take pics when I can get to my storage barn. We are in the middle of a blizzard and it is minus 22 Fahrenheit and about 30 inches on the ground already. Regards, Wayne

Agreed. I drive my Tudor daily and the manifold heater is ok. It works pretty well but we have had a lot of sub zero days here and I have GOT to stop procrastinating and install a hot water heater

Bettlesr,
In the #6 pic, is that one of those old adjustable thermostats? I'd sure like to find where to buy them, used them on Flathead V-8's, also.

Bill:
Yes, that is an adjustable thermostat. Goes from low to alcohol to high on the knob. It was on the car when I bought it and there are no manufacturers marking on it. It does work great.
