I'm installing a model B engine in my 1934 pickup. Im using a flywheel out of a 1934 that had a B engine in it, and pressure plate. Which clutch disc should i use? I bought the one that supposed to be the right one, except the inner part of the clutch disc seems slightly big to fit in the clearances provided by both fly wheel and pressure plate "holes." I am also using a model A type of collar for the throwout bearing.
Another option I have: I also have a v8 style presssure plate which i thought of using, in place of the (what looks tobe a model A style). this seems like it will accomodate the clutch disc more easily. would I then use a v8 style collar to hold the clutch throwout bearing? I know this is an A forum but some of you guys really know this stuff and probably could assist me. if anyone has expertise in this area I would appreciate your advice and knowlege, thanks jerrod =:O) ![]() |
