Hello,
I have a set of brake linings that may or may not be for an A. Does anyone happen to know the correct length and width of an 'A' brake lining? Thanks, Doug

My new front liners are 1 1/2 wide, 14 1/8 long. 10 1/2 straight across the shoe when installed.

If they are not Pre-drilled you could probably drill them, mount them to the shoes and grind the extra off?

Here is a photo of an old set of liners with their factory part # and dimensions.
I do have a related question. The third pic shows Comax liners made by Wagner, and the label states 4 liners low friction, 4 liners standard friction. How was that supposed to be configured? Low in the rear and standard in the front? Since by the 50's, drivers were accustomed to a front biased braking system.....?

The linings you have could be off a Model B. They went from an 11" brake drum to a 12" drum. These are diameter readings, so you can do the math.....
