New guy here!
Hey gang,
Figured I'd better go ahead and post in here! I received this car from my dad at 14 years old, on the condition that I help him restore it. To make a long story short, we finished on my 16th birthday, just in time to drive it to high school. My A is stock powered, with hydraulic brakes. Just figured I'd say hello and include a pic for you guys. Let me know what you think! Ted |

Re: New guy here!
Well, I joined in 2011 right after I got out of the military. Then life happened...and now here I am deployed as a civilian contractor for the military, and have time to look at stuff like this. I know my A isn't a stock color, but everything else is pretty much bone stock. I'm hoping the model A club in my area doesn't give me a hard time!

Re: New guy here!
Driving a Model A to High School, you can't buy memories like that.
And don't worry about the juice brakes and color with the car club. Welcome to the barn.

Re: New guy here!
Hi Matt. I got the car when I was 14 years old, and I'm 35 now. It is bone stock except for the juice brakes and the color.

Ted,
I'm only "35"--Going on 81! Beautiful car, makes me sad, that I had to sell my BLACK, '30 Coupe, Minerva. But, Vermin, my '29 Coupe awaits me in the Carriage House. Bill W.

Ted, besides the wheels, color and headlights your car looks pretty stock. Your Club shouldn't give you any static over those items. Nice car. What part of the country do you hang your hat? Last edited by Y-Blockhead; 07-23-2016 at 04:37 PM. |

Thanks everybody for the well wishes! Great to know there's so many like-minded people around here. Yes, I did graduate! I don't think you can get in the military without graduating... |
