I was wondering if this is a mirror bracket for a Ford Cabover truck. I am confident the mirror has been replaced. It was in a pile of parts from the junkyard I bought the parts from last year. I am not even sure it is from a Ford, but narrowing down the possible applications for this. No part # on it. Thanks Rod

The base of the bracket in your picture is identical to the 55-59 Chev truck mirror but the rest looks home made. You don't state the year of your Cabover but if it is a 38-47 they have a mirror bracket that goes on the top hinge via the pin and it is a longer version of what is found on the smaller trucks.

I do not have a cabover, just lots of parts to ID. So far with as much as I have inventoried and prpoerly ID'd I am close to 34,000 individual parts. Most is NOS and NORS and cover all makes from mid 20's to the early 70's. The stuff that is used is mostly in decent condition.
Nothing home made about the bracket. Thanks Rod
