Birthday Party
Planning a Birthday Party for my 1928 Special Coupe sometime in May this year. (She'll be 90 years old) Any fitting party ideas for the old girl?

Re: Birthday Party
Coat of wax, complete service, than a nice long ride. Let the old girl stretch her legs. Congratulations. Enjoy.

Re: Birthday Party
Maybe a little drink of 40 year old scotch in the gas tank? Just to remind her of her youth!

Re: Birthday Party
I did that for my tudor's 80th birthday, and had friends, cake, snacks, and poured some vodka in the radiator!

Re: Birthday Party
Would 100 proof vodka be considered too much grain alcohol for a birthday? I'd think she'd need a ride to burn the extra juice out of her system.

Re: Birthday Party
Treat all the neighborhood kids you know to a Sunday ICE CREAM treat with your "A" parked right outside.

Re: Birthday Party
Some of you may not be old enough to remember that alcohol was sold for antifreeze in the "olden dayz".
One of the name brands was Zerone. It was ethyl alcohol denatured with methyl alcohol so you couldn't drink it. It would boil off at around 150F but that usually would work in cold weather. By the way, it was purple and worked fine as fuel in the race car. |
