Default The State of Utah

The state won’t let me register my original issue 29 tags. Problem is the OCPU is registered as a 30, pretty sure the motor is a 30. The states telling me to show them something proving it’s a 29, not so easy when it’s on the frame. Any ideas much appreciated.

How about some photos of a 29 versus a thirty showing the different styles, Since they dont have a clue what a 28-29 or 30-31 model "A" looks like!

You should be able to show them the Restoration Guidelines and Judging Standards. In addition to the body styles being different, the front crossmember is also. How about wheels (21” vs 19”)?

They will probably want to see the serial number on the frame. Yeah, I know what that involves.

Maybe it is a 1930. The PU and AA's used 1929 sheet metal until
mid 1930. Here is a picture of an early 1930 AA open cab.

If it really is a 1929, then is there a date stamped on your gas tank that you could show them.....like in this photo?

Are you saying the original issue 29 tags ( ? License plates ? ) from the state originally issued by them and they don’t have the records ? Shame on them ! Go to another facility ? ! Different people may have different outcomes
