Got Tom Wesenberg's EVR installed into my 3 brush powerhouse around 11pm last night. I was able to do it without removing the generator from the car. How sweet is that?

Fired it up and tested everything. It was really strange to see the ammeter needle point at just a titch above zero. When I changed the load by turning things on and off the needle jumped in the appropriate direction and then returned to close to zero.

So... I went for broke. I took it out for a spin.

The headlight, now that I've got them working, focused and aimed, did a surprisingly good job. I don't think I want to head cross country but they are enough to get me home at night and I don't have to make those annoying generator adjustments.
