I'm removing this from my 1928 Tudor.
As you can see, it took the place of the rear spring hold down brackets. To use the hitch, the rear tire would have to be removed. The spare tire bracket would not need to be removed. I only removed it to replace a stripped stud. I purchased the new trailer hitch that bolts between the bumberettes. With the new design, I'll be able to carry a bike rack and tow a trailer, if I ever need to. I may sell or trade the old hitch, if anyone is interested. Neil [email protected] |
