I have a source for some bumpers listed as 1934. Will they fit my 1935 Model 48? It's 26 inches between mounting bolts and my '35 is just that too, so I'm guessing so.
Thanks all! |

The 34 will have one groove, and the 35 a double groove. But maybe you don’t care?

Friend got a good deal on some re-chromed '35 bumpers so we put them on his '33 using '34 irons. Note the double grooves.

As DavidG points out, the 34 has a single impressed line centered in its length, painted black.
The 34 Victoria (40-740) rear bumper is different than its contemporaries....longer in length, and more curved at its ends. The brackets are shaped different too to accommodate the Deck Door opening fully with the spare tire attached. ![]() To directly answer your question, the 68-17757 listed above for the 34 is the same for all models of Ford 1935 except for the Sedan Delivery. 34 has a single stamped line, 35 has a double. In answer to the original question. 1934 and 1935 bumpers are different as 1934 has a single stripe, 1935 has a double stripe. 1934 and 1935 bumpers share the same external shape and mount hole locations so they are a bolt on interchange.
