Default Motormeter

How can I tell if my motormeter is a repro or an original?

On the ORIGINAL the screws have some detail to them that matches the sides.. Also the stem is also plated all the way to its base.. It is NOT a solid piece of brass on the end of the stem, it has what would look like a small freeze plug & its steel..
