I have an early 30 Canadian standard Phaeton. The running boards have no trim pieces on them. The outside is formed like the trim and matches the front fender very well. Is it possible that the Canadian version of the running boards had no outside trim. The inside has the holes for the trim bolts. If they do indeed need trim, who makes the good zinc trim? Is the stuff from Snyders the good trim? Thanks in advance for any help.

I found a guy in California that's making excellent running boards trim for the 30 Model A. I put them on a 30 coupe I'm doing.
A pleasure to work with. You just have to wait until he has enough orders to make a run of parts. Bob Burdick 24292 Airporter way. Laguan Niguel Cal. 92677 U.S.A. 949-310-4898 I tried a set from Mac's and there was no way that the inner moulding was close to being right and no hope of even getting it on the runningboard. Where they got it from I have no idea. The Old Tinbasher |

I'd be in for a set if they are accurate reproductions.
I bought a trim set from Sac Vintage Ford....not even close. |
