Default Help needed ASAP. whining fan belt

Decided to try the Gates BX 40 fan belt. Just fired it up and it sounds like a 671 jimmy supercharger. Tightened it up a bit and no difference. Any suggestions. Leavin for Vancouver in the morning.

Also try a little bar soap on the belt and see if it's the pulleys

A pinch of talcum powder quiets down noisy belts too.
