Default Battery Question

On a '34 Ford, Did FMC supply it with the same group 1 six volt battery as a Model A, or was it a larger group 2 battery in the early V8's ?

The Green Bible indicates the Battery to be an 81A-10655A the size is listed as 10 1/2 x 7 1/8 x 7 1/4 the # 2 battery shows a highth
