Default SpringCoverOil

I've been reading in the service bulletin book about the special unidentified oil Ford infused into the felt pads that go inside the front & rear spring cover accessory. Does anyone know what a modern equivalent oil would be and a particular soaking procedure/time they would use to get the best intended results from the spring covers?

Thanks

I pour some gear oil onto the felt, then smear Mystik JT-6 grease on them. I've found 2 qualities of spring covers. I've liked the ones I bought from Bert's and Little Dearborn. Can't say what the other parts house sell, as I haven't tried them.
