Default 1951 Wagon parts pic

Does anyone have the gas pedal linkage picture or exploded view for a shoebox. It's a '51 woody wagon and I can't find one online or in the service manual.

Dear oldtimer,

On my original 49 woody there is a heavy wire size linkage with a metal flat hat on one end. Its about 6 " long. The hat is smaller than a thumb tack and thicker.
On the other end is a kink in the wire that goes through the spring loaded throttle extension. There was probably a small collar to keep it on originally.
A stock rubber pedal will have a thumb tack sized hollow at the top which receives the connector.
Pictures and prices of both pedal and linkage are on page 118 of Mac's catalogue. Item 8A-7012177-S
I hope this helps.

If you're doing a resto, then it might be a good idea to get a set of parts catalogs that cover your car. Lots of exploded drawings in them. A big help in finding correct parts ,too!! On Ebay all the time and there are CD versions now also.

Go to shoeboxford.com and call the 800 number at the top of the page. Chris probably has whatever you are looking for.
