Default Harbor Freight Front or Rear Hone?!?!?!

Yep, my trusty 35 year hold Lisle wheel cylinder hone decided to shuck the flex drive this AM while doing some bushings. Called around, Napa said they could order etc, and Harbor Freight said they would check. "Just a second' they said. After a long wait and second employee asked if I needed the hone "for the Front or for the Rear"!!!! Told them I thought a Left or Right might also work too. After another "hold on for a second'' I was told "Yes" they have the hone. I asked what size it would do and was told 2.5 to 4 inches.
Now that's a big wheel cylinder! Had no idea they made them that big. Oh well..................

Its for a cylinder alright, an engine cylinder. Not a wheel cylinder.

One thing about HF, it'll either work decent of a while or it'll break immediately. :[

You are lucky they came back to the phone after putting you on hold. I called to ask if they had an item number in stock, they never came back to the phone. Not within the ten minutes before I hung up.

I called Best Buy yesterday to check to see if they had a particular model in stock, they never answered the phone and I tried 3-4 times. It just rang until the phone timed out.

I remember that before I retired Total Quality was the thing, you strived to make the customer happy. So much for that concept in today's big-store world.

I'm thankful we have a few individuals here on the 'Barn that strive to provide a quality service.

Its sad . That wheel cyl . hone used to be a real common item , but now all they want to sell you is a new offshore cylinder .
