Default Obsolete & Clsssic, Dale Bliss, Oklahoma City?

Howdy, Boys:

Several years ago Dale Bliss, Obsolete Ford Parts, was boring with a big auger. I've learned they are still in business under a new name: Obsolute & Classic Parts. Have not seen many referrals/recomendations - maybe I'm missing them???

Are they good to deal with? Any bad experiences? Quality parts, or the usual Chinese crap-o-la?

Much obliged,

Mike

My lesson(s) finally sunk-in many years ago. NOTHING good to refer. I've never had a good experience with a trip into that store, nor from an order received from them, either. Big, fancy store, but that's all. I'll NEVER attempt to purchase parts there again. DD

I heard they changed the name as they got into a problem with Ford Motor Company and had to drop the "Ford" from the business name. I never ordered from them so I don't know much about the quality, service , etc.

I bought one of their aftermarket horns for my 37 pickup streetrod. The pickup has never been in the rain. It has been washed only by hand, and mostly with no soap, since it is usually just dusty. The horn cover rusted within two years. I have been to their location in Oklahoma City. Their prices on printed material were far higher than what you can find printed material online for.

I had dealings with them back in the '90's. unfavorable is the nicest word I can say about them. ate up over 200.00 in shipping costs between returns and the original order shipping. all was their fault. told me they had the parts .sent the wrong parts twice. then finally admitted that they did not even carry the parts I had ordered over the phone. I will never do business with them again. they refused to reemburse any of the shipping even though their fault. I did finally get the cost of the parts back, but even that was a big hassel.

The ONLY way he stays in business is by selling things to people who dont know how crappy his parts are. His service after the sale is even worse.

The only way to buy from him is: Look at his substandard part you want IN YOUR HAND and decide if you are willing to accept it.
