I talked to Bill this afternoon and he is still in business and going great. It is true that he’s not doing caps only any longer. He basically ran out of good caps to exchange. If you need a full babbitt job he’s ready to go. I feel very fortunate to have two sets of caps from him. Bill is a great guy with a lot of Model A knowledge and adventures under his belt. Give him a call if you need any babbitt work.
