Ken, the guy's from New England are setting up a few tours, the first is just an impromptu meeting at the Fitchburg, MA swap meet (I don't know the dates). Keep checking here and on the chevyBarn.com (non-Chevy forum) for more information. Vic

Ken, if you have all those rental properties finished and one of those nice Early V8's purring like a kitten....then start being extra nice to Momma and maybe she will let you go on this New England Tour. Also, tell her how upset you still are about missing the Blue Ridge Parkway and then on to Dawsonville's Moonshine Festival Tour last October. Try to appear to have some tears in your eyes during this conversation... LOL .
A 2012 NE tour is now being organized but I don't believe dates and the exact routes have been officially selected yet. Stay tuned to this forum and the Chevy barn for forth coming details. We need you and your wife (Barb? I think her name is ?) on this tour!! It should be a very good one that you will definitely not want to miss.

ps...Ken, this NE tour I speak of is not to be confused with a tour being put together by the EFV-8 Club of America to drive from somewhere in NY or maybe PA out to next years GNM in Lake Tahoe.

I am putting together the information for a New England tour. Basically it will be along the coast. I want to include MA, NH and Maine. That may be tough to get to all three states within the time span of 4 days(Thursday though Sunday). Some of the Barners will meet up at the Fitchburg, MA, EF V8 car show & swap meet on Sunday April 22. Hunt down Bill Wzorek or Ken Isadore (KenCT). I will bring what I have there for folks to check out.

It wasn't a tour, but a while ago I did a vacation that had easy directions.....1,2,3. Started at hammonds castle, tok route 1 to bar harbor, route 2 to the white mountains and route three south through laconia back to Mass. Rained the first three days.....

I am about caught up working on rentals and got the garden plowed up and ready to start planting. Got all the lawns mowed and edged. Today I put a rebuilt fuel pump on the 39. It just stop working all at once. Had me fulled for bit. I would look forward on a tour up the New England coast. I have never done that as yet.I guess we are selling the Motor Home which I hate to see go but Mother say it going by by down the road. Hope she don't deside to send me down the road.I surley hate to see this rig go.She thinks I am to old to travel I guess.

Bill, will plan to see you there at #331 regardless of what kind of weather we may have that day. I know you are part of the tough 'Old School', well seasoned, veteran vendors who will show up regardless of what comes weather wise. I'm thinking some of those fair weather 'fleamaketeers' may not even show up if the forecast does not call for a day of absolutely perfect weather LOL.

I think Chuck had mentioned the Owl Head's Museum as a possible stop. Carguy (on the EFV8 site) says their annual car auction is Saturday, August 25. Oh Boy, maybe the tour will take all week. And don't forget, when the tour schedule is announced and you are in the region, join it for a day or two. Even if you are unfortunate and only have an old Chevy you will be welcome.

One post says April 22 and another says August. With April 22 this weekend, I'm hoping for August.
