I'm curious as to what cam you have and what are the reasons for advancing it. Thanks, Jack

Good question Jack, I have a pretty big crower 3/4 race with 380 lift and 230 duration. I changed the rear gear from 4:11 to a 3.55 many years ago and now with the big cam it lugs down low and then comes alive at higher rpms. Just trying to get back some of the oomph I guess. Bubbas have setup my distributor so its right on too. Figured if I could change the setup for more cam advance it would be better?

Back in the day we would file the bolt holes in the cam gear and use star washers under the bolts to keep the gear from slipping, worked great in the stockcar.

Flatattack racing in Australia has them and they may be available thru Red's Headers

Just checked Red's site. They are $79.00 and can vary timing + or - 6*.

Checked with Red's they don't have them anymore. Looks like flatattack might be the only one with them so far....
