Default seat adjustment again

On a 31 coupe, you turn the seat adjustment knob to make the seat go back. Do you turn it the other way to make the seat go forward or just scoot it forward with your butt.

Thanks. After taking it apart again I finally figured it out. Works good when it's assembled right.
