Default Zephyrhills swap today

Just returned from a very long, hot day (89 degrees by noon) at Zepherhills (FL). I was looking for a few Model A items, but found very few-mostly junk! It looks like the show has become a "made in China", and "chrome show". A few years ago I did find several A items, as well as several V8 parts. The auction brought out a few nice Model As, but it was getting too hot to stick around to get the results. If you are looking for some nice parts, save your gas money!

My wife and I were at the show last year. Enjoyed watching the auction and the race track events. Didn't see much Model A material then, either.

I also went to the swap show today and found the model a part i was looking for (lucky i guess) it was the filler strip over the gas tank on my 30 coupe and it was an original part ... (battlefield antique model a parts stand) not only that it was for $60 ... most parts on line are double that... joe

The last time I went was 3 or 4 years ago. There was a pretty good selection of parts, but prices were higher then eBay at the time.
The secret to swap meets is that you have to go "everytime". Because
you never know when that special goody will be there!

Never have good luck for old tin here. Yet anyway. Probably need to go more often.

The races are the best.

All you guys are right! I found one vender had a carb. for a Model A when I decided to buy it at his asking price he said he was going to keep it for a spare and took it off the table. I walked away. Lot of open spaces beteeen venders in the back two rows. It should be renamed the Maide-In-China swap meet.
