Default 28 roadster roof rear tack strip details

About to tackle a non-existent wood piece around the back of cab along the top deck which the roof screws to.

Was this a compounded curved ONE piece all the way, or 2 or 3 or more pieces ?

I am guessing the only way I can make it is to laminate plywood other than getting a huge lump and whittling it out..

After all the only thing I see it does is give the roof somewhere to hang onto, as the wood itself is trimmed and not seen .

What was original and how are the repro dudes doing it?
