Default Auction to benefit MAFFI for Model A Museum

As most of you know MAFFI ( www.MAFFI.org ) is planning on building a Museum for the Model A Ford at the Gilmore Car Museum ( www.gilmorecarmuseum.org ) located in Hickory Corners, MI. The design of the building will replicate a 1929 Ford dealership front and the inside will be a stroll through the Model A era.

Our club, Grape Country, decided to have an auction to benefit MAFFI and this Museum. We are a small club and had a goal of raising $500 which is $10 per member. We asked that each member look around their garage or home and bring something to the meeting that they did not need any more which might be of value to another club member. We had this auction at our November club meeting Tuesday and raised over $1200!! We had no idea how successful this would be, but were amazed at the support and generosity of our members.
