Can anyone give me a rough estimate of the amount of grease needed to grease all the points that need to be greased?

Try one 14 oz. tube, It should be more then enough.

If the U-joint is bone dry it takes one 14 oz. tube to fill it completely full. All the other grease fittings I like to pump in new grease until I can see it come out.
