I am in need of a good manual for building my 29 RPU I am looking for diagrams or pictures to help me with where all the wood goes, mostly where the mounting wood blocks for the body to sit on the frame. Plus i am sure I will need other questions answered down the road. Which manual would help the most.

There really is no such thing as "a good manual". There are several manuals called Technically Speaking, along with Les Andrews book used in conjunction with the Judging Standards & Restoration Guidelines and the Ford Service Bulletins.

I just happened to have needed the same. I'm painting fenders and then the body for a 29 roadster and was pulling out my old and new wood recently.
You mean like this which came from the Les Andrews book: ![]() The Les Andrews book is the best by far out there, not perfect but most complete, also most practical. If I had to pick one, Les Andrews it would be. It is most like a modern service manual. Brattons catalog has them as well: ![]() I have the following which are also good in different ways but are not as complete on the how to as the Les Andrews book: Technically Speaking(volumes of magazine articles) How to Restore Your Model A(volumes of magazine articles) Judging Standards & Restoration Guidelines Ford Service Bulletins. I am writing the manual you want at the moment. It will be the best on the market with over 1000 plus detailed close pictures and technical descriptions. It will cover everything. My first book will cover 1930 cars , but not too far away is the 28/29 RPU book. All books are A/4 size, hard cover, all pics in colour and around 250 pages. It has taken me nearly one year to get the first book close to being finished. Keep an eye out for my advertising, or send me a private message for more info. Les. Pearson.

Grease and dirt proof pages would do well, or at least ones that can be wiped down at the end of the day!
Will you put it on disc or load it to the cloud? Much of my work is done from copies (Marco's excellent method of timing), so that if the copy gets too unreadable, just mash the copy button again!!!

RHD, spiral bound soft cover book would be helpful - something that will lie flat open to a particular page.
