Center line to centerline . Would prefer not on the diagonal. I really need the framerail measurements.
I don’t have the muscle to assemble a bare block and loaded trans . 40 v-8 to stock 3 speed . Tudor , but that should not matter . Thanks . Gary |

I measured my 1937 frame and I get 40.25” from center of the trans mount hole to the centerline of the engine mount hole (not diagonal). When I measured the engine and water pump (without a gasket) I got 26.875” to the center of the engine mounting hole and the transmission is 13.25” from the mounting surface to the center of the mount slot, so I felt they agreed pretty closely.
