Default Windshield and windshield wiper question

Were the windshield frame gaskets original or after market? Were the rubber wiper mounting boots original or after market? What size bolt do you use in mounting the Heinz electric wiper on a 29 coupe? Thanks

The rubber mounts were original. I bought new rubber mounts from A&L some years ago. The windshield frame also had rubber to seal the edges.

Windshield Frame Gaskets: Yes for the rubberized cork gasket for which the glass window fits within the frame; Yes for the rubber insulation gasket that goes on the outside of the frame which comes against the body front door pillers; and yes for the gasket of dum-dum which goes between the header and the windshield frame hinge;

The rubber wiper mounting boots or A-17597 RH and A-17589 LH Electric Windshield Wiper Bracket Boots are original to the car (there was also A-17595) but yes the 29 Coupe took the rubber wiper mounting boots;

The bolts used (I think) were A-20247 (No. 10 --32 USF x 7/8 round head screw Cad Plate); Nut A-21577 (No. 10---32 USF 1/8 x 3/8 hex head nut RF or BE) and lock washer A-22088 (3/16 "3/64 x 21/64" Lock washer.

From the December 1, 1929 Parts Price List
