Dry fuel bowl overnight
Autolite 4100. Main fuel bowl empties overnight. If I prime the carb with fuel prior to start, it will start right up and run fine. If I don't prime it I have to crank it several times before it will start. I took the cover off the carb and just poured some fuel in the bowl. The next day it was basically dry. I don't see any external fuel leaks. The back bowl still has fuel. Would a bad needle and seat cause this? Also, there are two oddly placed squirters on the top plate of this carb. I have not seen them on any of the various 4100 illustrations. It is a C6AF A with what looks like a 1.0 in the circle. It seems like there should be another number after the 0, but I didn't see one. Maybe need to double check that. Photo of the squirters is attached. One is on the primary side, and one is on the secondary side. Thanks for any help/advise. This is on a 58 Edsel 410 motor, I know it is the wrong carb, but I will deal with that later. Fuel does squirt from the inlet when I crank it over with the cover off.
