Default 1936 porter muffler

Thinking of putting a porter shorty in 1936 model 68. Does anyone know if it should be an 11 degree offset or 17 degree offset to run it through the original frame layout?

Since you are basically doing a custom thing, you should probably get under there and do a custom measurement. Anybody else’s custom measurements might not apply to your car, and then you are stuck with an unusable part.

How much offset is there in the exhaust pipe between the inlet and outlet? How long is the muffler?
If those measurements are known then a bit of trig will get the angle needed. Post the measurements and someone on here will probably calculate the angle.
