Hello out there in the Barn. Just picked up a half dozen transmissions from my brothers house . What is this electric connection on the cover plate ? Never seen one befor ! School is in session . .. Thanks Mike in Mass

What years were the lubable throwout bearings used? I thought it was earlier than ‘36.

You can find the lube fitting on early 35, they were gone a few months into the year.

I think you will find aftermarket kits up into the seventies on pickups. My 68 F100 has one. Tim

Just a grease cup with a hose attached. The old hose saw better days. The operator would give it a turn or so at scheduled intervals then refill the cup when empty.
