I found a crankshaft that the guy says is a 312. Is there another way to identify a 312 crank besides the dimple on the rear flange? He wants $200.00 for the crankshaft. I looks pretty good but would need ground. Any help would be appreciated. Larry

Check the main journal diameter. Don’t be surprise to see the mains slightly under size from previous grinding. Or check the throw for the stroke.
