Default Zenith drain plug ?

What do I have to? Today I was playing with a old carburetor , when I was putting it together I found that the carburetor drain plug is 5/8 and not the typical 1/2” I have been playing with carburetor for years and never seen this before ! What do I have also it has not been altered thanks for your input and help in advance Joe.

Assuming it's part A9590 (under the main jet). All the ones I've ever seen are 1/2 inch. I assume the threads are the same( 3/8 -24) . I wonder if it's a farm yard repair years ago with whatever was on the shelf. PS It's the earlier Zeniths that had the the brass GAV seat - they went to the integral cast seat in 1930.

I had a couple of non ford zeniths which were identical except for not having a GAV needle and jet.
Not sure what their application. I think one had the adjustable flow for the main jet.
Sorry no photos.
