Pic of finished exhaust, it just needs a clean up on some of my welds, cut the tailpipe to length, then off to the coating place.
it fits nice in the tight places. and i,m very happy
Today I made some really nice clamps for it, machined some bar stock down to just 1mm smaller than the tube OD, then made them 3mm wall thickness, welded on the brackets and mounting lugs to them ,then finish bored them to the tube OD ,so they are a real nice clamp.

Thanks for this post... In the back of my mind I am sure I will go down this road of needing to replace mine on my '35. But for now... some 90 years later... the original still is holding fine... although I did replace the muffler. Take care!

Scubachief60, I made my own exhaust system too for my 35 convertible sedan. It’s a little bigger than a std system. It was tricky following the correct path and I managed to source a ss muffler that was nearly the same size as an original. Ps it’s a Rhd , so the exhaust is on the opposite side. Dan
Lawrie your system looks great! I’ll give you a call over the weekend Dan.
